Apr. 3rd, 2011 11:22 pmOK, I'll have to start the exercise back up too. It'll be tougher than it was in the winter. Indeed, the best time to run will be in the mornings, and that requires me to get out of bed at an hour I'm not usually used to. The endorphins will do their job and I'll feel good again. Maybe I'll make it all the way to the end of the program again. And it'll make all the other stuff I'm doing work better, too.
Because the main thing that's bothering me now isn't so much that I'm down on myself, but I'm down on everyone else. I don't really have a lot of faith in humanity, both as a whole and on the individual level. My circle of trust is very small. Maybe it's my distrust that's making me seem off-putting to new people.

Date: 2011-04-05 05:21 am (UTC)Also, running in the morning is good. Do it before you eat breakfast, but have a tall cup of unsweetened green tea before you go out. The mild caffeine will boost your metabolism without getting you too jacked up and the lack of food in your system means that the body will use fat reserves instead of digested glucose to fuel the exercise.
