though i was inspired to look for work in seattle again... if i can keep up the momentum, then i can pull a geographic

and it'll be like the last ten years never happened.

Not trying to be mean. I'm making a practical reminder. Starting over can be a good thing, especially if you've made changes in your life, but other people still treat you like the "old you". But if you haven't made changes, things are going to play out somewhat the way they have before.

I've got some high hopes for Nick, because I think part of the stress he has when socializing is because of transportation issues. I think he'll have an easier time in the Seattle area.

More to the point, I've already cut out a lot of people in my life, but their ghosts still haunt me, and I'm afraid of seeing certain people entirely.

You are right, though; those ghosts might follow me. And I know enough people in Seattle who didn't find the time to say hello while I was there, that it may turn out there are some there right now...

...but, I'll be in a better position to advance, I think.
