I have to remember that my attempts to function in phoenix outside a particular radius or time range, often end in interminable waits for cabs that show up long after I've already gone crazy.
Or you need to plan outings with a less vehicularly-challenged companion. Which, yeah, I know can put a damper on things, but... (I've been the ride for my friend Steve more times than I can readily count, and I don't even live in Tucson any more...)
