I took a different way out of downtown Tempe tonight, and found a little house next to a vacant lot, right between the Borders and the Jack in the Box.

Inside was an Internet cafe called ejoy. It looked like 1998, with a hip we're-not-Starbucks sandwich shop in front, and a neon blue computer room in back with CRT monitors.

After I had some hummus, I checked the newspaper article posted in the window. Turns out the place opened in 2003.
