If you tend to get sick on vacation, what does that mean?

I remember hearing that is common, where you have to stop working in order to give your body time to get sick.

Except, I haven't done hardly any relaxing on this trip so far. In fact, this morning I was doing manual labor. Just gardening, but still harder on the body than programming.

I haven't ruled out that it's my body conspiring to prevent me from going to Bourbon Street tonight out of some misplaced obligation to party down.

I think getting on an airplane increase your chances of illness about 500%. Travel is stressful and the recirculated air of 150 strangers is a toxic soup of contagion.

I think airliners are one of the nation's main breeding grounds of upper respritory infections, along with elementary schools.

That's why I usually bring some saline nasal spray, but my Freedom Baggie already had lots of stuff in it so I left it behind.

So I bought one. It's 1.5 oz.

But the idea that I caught it on the plane is a bit strange, considering colds are supposed to have an incubation period, aren't they?

except this might not be a cold, but bronchitis. FUN
