Which was the more ridiculous Stargate SG-1 cameo: Fred Willard, or Wayne Brady?

and Dom Deluise: world's dumbest neural implant.

I mean it. If he hadn't pulled off that singing stunt, SG-1 could have gone on that fishing trip and he would have escaped.

I would think they might give him a better-written part.

And also tried to weasel in a role for Burt Reynolds.

I'm gonna go with the first appearance of Richard Kind ("Lucius Lavin") on SG:A. The second, at least, was a vehicle to resolving a certain outstanding plotline.

Between the two, though, Fred Willard's no more ridiculous than the appearance of, and integration into the show of, his character's daughter, who makes me want to fast forward. So, Wayne Brady it is.

I considered bringing him up. He was in the original Stargate movie, as the guy who translated stuff before Daniel Jackson got there. Then he became a comedic actor, and hilarity ensued.

Kind of like how Wayne Knight was one of the guys interrogating Sharon Stone in Basic Instinct, before his presence would have been seen as distracting. I forget whether he had line of sight to her snatch.
