Foreman grill woes, advice sought.

unbibiumI used to use my George Foreman grill all the time to make burgers. But I think I eitehr cleaned it wrong, or not often enough, and now no matter what I do, it no longer appears to drain fat the way it used to. Maybe I'll get one or two drops of fat out of it.
Is there any way to remedy that, or should I just buy a new grill?
