unbibiumBack when I lived in my old apartment, there was this mysterious building across the street called "WFV Post 720". I wondered, is it a country club? A business? A volunteer post for the Salvation Army or an analogue? A Satanic church?
While at my swing dance lesson tonight, I came upon a display of swing nights at other clubs... one of which was WFV Post 720.
Had I been a little more curious, not only would I have learned to swing dance a year and a half ago, but also I would have learned it RIGHT ACROSS THE STREET from my apartment, where, if I had swept someone sufficiently off her feet, I could have....
Well, who am I kidding. I was pretty adolescent back then; there's little chance I'd have handled the intense responsibility of club attendance gracefully back then. But it would have been cool to at least learn over there, so that when I discovered my current venue, I'd start out good. And my old apartment was easier to keep clean, and of course it had a better KITCHEN.
NO, I WON'T LET IT GO. I MISS MY OLD KITCHEN! Electric stoves suck broken glass.
