I fell asleep too early and woke up after midnight, so I figured I'd channel surf a little until I could get back to sleep. The ads are for either the destitute or the unfuckable. I see lots of ads for Girls Gone Wild videos, or services to connect with hot singles. TRY IT FREE!

I wonder what kind of person actually believes these ads. For one, I wonder whether the voice chat services will connect me with operators who are paid to keep guys on the line and provide excuses for not meeting them. With the text chat services, I wonder a little less. I remember reading about lonely Japanese men buying relationships with imaginary girlfriends through their cell phones. In text chat, you can have a robot do the whole thing.

I think that next Saturday night, I'm going to be out of the house at this hour. I don't care where.

Seeing the Simpsons movie, trying to break out of this funk I'm in.

When I get like this, I am often afraid to try to watch new things, for if it sucks I'll just feel worse.

Saw the Simpsons movie. Laughed through most of it, until some babies in the audience started babbling, and then my mood dipped again.

I need to see it again when I'm feeling more like myself.
