I attended a party where I knew a few people just a little.  Somehow I managed to come out of my shell more often than a party where I've known some people for a long time.

Have I changed, or is this kind of environment more hospitable?

There was also definitely a much higher quotient of women than any other party I'd ever been to.  Somehow they seemed friendlier, even. I can't quite explain why.

Also, there was dancing.  Not DDR.  Real dancing, with no computers involved. It's been a long time since I've seen that. It didn't start up until midnight.

That reminds me of another weird aspect: I didn't check my watch until it was 1:00 in the morning. Usually I get the wonder-if-I'm-out-too-late feeling long before then.

See, this is why TechTV used to be so cool.  If you watched long enough, you'd see what an old anarchy text file would look like if it were professionally produced for television.  For example, how to cheat on tests using technology, or how to hack Windows passwords.

YouTube, you will be the death of me.  You have combined web surfing with couch surfing.  They'll have to knock out a wall to remove my remains.
