May. 24th, 2006 10:59 pmOK, I've got vacation time lined up next week. Here's my plan.
Even on Memorial Day weekend, there's got to be some planes with empty seats. I'm going to the airport Friday night, asking them where those planes are going, and getting a ticket. I'll go through security, plug my iBook into the wireless network, and find a hotel there on priceline.com or one of those other last-minute places.
I might even check priceline.com tomorrow night.
I'm hoping for Portland.
Anyone have any advice before I begin my adventure?
