I just saw "Heat", because I like heist movies. I need to construct a TiVo search to automatically record movies about heists.

Two great MST3K lines:

Al Pacino: "When I see a beautiful ass, something comes out of me."
Me: "Your eyeballs?" (Yes, they were bulging like a cartoon character's.)

Robert DeNiro: "I don't even know what I'm doing anymore."
Me: "ME NEITHER!" (It was two hours in and I was losing my grip on the plot.)

I just posted this because I never seem to have witnesses when I'm clever.

Know what I miss? The BBS interface. Know why? No fucking scrollbars and subwindows.

This is why I can't keep up-to-speed on listservs. I end up having to scroll through message after message, where nobody trims their quoted material so I have to play hide-and-seek for who said what.

Web message boards are a little better, but they seem to be so strictly thread-based that you can't just Read All New. And I'd like to see a web board that can be comfortably operated entirely with a keyboard.

Maybe I'll have to code it myself.

Here's my personal ad. Isn't it wonderful. Doesn't it make me look like pure distilled virility.

I used to be more exciting than this, honestly. What happened?

Like cute comics? Here's some little 16-bit dudes learning a beer-and-pretzels RPG system. Both this comic, and the design of that RPG's website, will appear to you if you liked Harold and the Purple Crayon.

When I was a kid, my purple crayon was never as cool as Harold's. The lines were all spotty and waxy and ill-defined.

Last year, there was also a webcast TV show about women playing D&D and then acting out. It was called Dungeon Majesty. I just checked in and now they have a SECOND episode! oooo! (note to [livejournal.com profile] littledevi: it's four women, who have not yet gotten sick of each other or been broken up by men or children.)
