I am now the proud owner of a heavy-ass cast iron skillet.

The instrument that separates real cooks from those people who just buy one of those Skillet-O-Matic freezer dinners and empty them into their teflon-coated whatever.

I'm keeping my teflon-coated whatever, though, because omelets seem to require that unnatural slickness to keep from binding up...
