The cable broadcast system has announced a child abduction emergency, and is effective until 10:02 am.

Which is probably why there's no sound on ANY channel between 23 and 99.

I better stop watching TV and go out and look for a child. I wish they'd give some description of, like, which child I'm looking for, or what I could do to help. Right now the announcement amounts to "Someone got abducted somewhere."

Everything's just so useless.

My mother has a habit of losing the last word of sentences. "Could you hand me the..."

My father has a habit of guessing the last word of sentences as I'm saying them.

Patton Oswalt's new CD (bn, amazon) is hilarious. He's at least as funny as David Cross used to be (bn, amazon). Go get it.

David Cross's new CD (bn, amazon) is not funny, so much as ranty.

Thanks to [livejournal.com profile] jecook, I've got all my travel pictures up on the Sub-Ether Gallery. I've added not only my New Orleans and Atlanta pics, but also all my pics from Europe, and my recent New Year's trip too.

I have lots of little cards.

Some are business cards, some are discount membership cards, then there's my diploma-on-a-card... and of course, the important ones like my ID.

How do you organize all your cards?

There's a community out there called [livejournal.com profile] convert_me.

I see potential for hilarity, tragedy, and possibly the foundation of an LJ-based brainwashing cult.

Anyone want a Vivitar DSC-350 digital camera? (information at the Vivitar website.

You'll have to tape the battery door shut, but I'll throw in a video cable and a USB cable.
