I told my TiVo to thumbs-down Space Ghost Coast to Coast.

Ask anyone, I'm a huge fan of non-sequiturs. But it looks like they're just pulling lines out of a hat.

They lower in the TV set with the bewildered live celebrity, and Space Ghost babbles with little regard to what they're saying, and there's a little banter with Zorak which was cute in 1994 but now is so played out.

It seems a lot of those Adult Swim shows seem to have one or two characters written this way, where they just put "Shake babbles inconsiderately for fifteen seconds" in the script. But at least in those shows, there's something to watch when he's done babbling.

Here's a link to the Risus RPG system, the one ziabatsu ran Thursday. It's basically tabletop roleplaying boiled down to a pure essence. If you've never role-played before, you can probably scrounge up enough dice from various Yahtzee and Monopoly games lying around the house.

For those of you who read about FATAL last week, this is just what you need to restore your faith in humanity.

I want to buy a bunch of different-colored d6 sets now, so that I can say "OK, these yellow ones are my wizard dice, these blue ones are my Elvis impersonator dice..."
