It does not explain why their equivalent of an I, a letter which exists in both Latin and Greek, is a И. Nor why their equivalent of an N is a Н. Neither the English H nor the Greek Eta sound anything like an N.
They probably feel the same way about our P.
my next alphabet will be Korean. Look forward to it!
