I forget whether I'm on call this week.

If I'm not, I'll have walked to work at 10:45pm to no other end but as pennance for my disorganization.

If I am... I'll have to be at work at 6am tomorrow. Maybe I'll just sleep there.

We've seen it many times on bad sitcoms: a man and a woman who hate each other get in a screaming match, and at the climax of the argument they kiss.

This happened on this week's Star Trek: Enterprise. I smelled it coming before the series was even green-lighted.
