lost my bed.

Well I lost my bed because I failed to make a Friday night reservation when I paid for Thursday night, because I didn't have enough cash yet then for both nights yet. Too bad, there are many fine ladies here, including one Spanish girl who was talking to her mother on the phone and turned around and saw me and shouted "¡Qué rubio!"

well I'm going to go sightseeing some more and maybe hunt down another B&B in case I can't find Zixia...

I forgot to close my telnet window. So I enter my cybercafe-without-the-coffee code again and close the window. I find I can't pause my account again, so I now have to find some use for the remaining 20 minutes.

This place is just full of surprises.

I would rather describe to you how neat it was to walk around in St. James Park and watch the guards at Buckingham Palace do some weird synchronized rifle thing when a car drove in there and then stand perfectly still in the way that I've only seen video game characters do before. (Buckingham Palace guards on bad sitcom episodes always "lose" eventually.)

Also, the three girls that were staying in my room also lost their beds.
