Didn't sleep very well because of Tam's cats and because Tam and Joe Manfre were up talking all night about all the arkdoodz who have latched onto her.

Tam cooked us breakfast, though, but I was so full from last night's pigging-out during Iron Chef that I couldn't finish it. I figured now would be a good time to check out the rest of Toronto. Tam gave me directions to the subway station, and a really super-rad black trenchcoat to keep me warm. Sweeet!

I took the subway to downtown Toronto, which was easy enough, and I think I can get back.. but, I just want a nap now. I tried to catch a few winks in a low-visibility corner of a coffeehouse, but I'm just still too exhausted to really just enjoy myself.

Also, I can't find that alleged giant tower that TOronto has. There seems to be a lot of pollution today, which might make it hard to find in the daytime.

I did find a really tiny mall which was mostly under construction, and the library from whence I am reporting now.

I foudn lots of sushi places, and now that it's late enough to eat, I shall find them again.

I went out and wandered around downtown Toronto all day in the rad trenchcoat. Had sushi, paid for it with Canadian money. Got to take the subway hither and yon, and got an eyeful of the wildly different brand and chain landscape they have in Canada.

I hear a lot more francophones than I thought I would.

I went to the CN tower, and paid extra to go to the Skypod. I don't recommend the Skypod; the line is like a half hour to get through, and you all cram into this tiny elevator and you all go up and there are no chairs! It's pretty cool up there, but not cool enoguh for me. The glass floor was cooler.

After the CN tower, I must have had to walk a mile to get to the subway, what with the skywalk and the rat maze that is Union Station. I kept losing the trail to the subway. But once I got to the appropriate platform, it was a breeze. Even transferring was a snap. And they had the names of the stations in gigantic letters when you pulled in so I could always tell exactly where I was.

When I got back to Tam's, I was exhausted. Joe had stayed the whole time there, talking with Tam and dicking around on her old guitar. I took a nap, then we all went to Tam's favorite bar for dinner. I arm-wrestled Joe and won. Tam told us embarrassing stories about her. And when we got back, the first episode of The Tick (animated) was on.

Tomorrow I shall accompany Tam to the market and find something to cook.
