Is there any taboo in Korea about kissing a woman's hand the first day you met her?

It's only a few days until the new Star Track series comes on tv...

I've read rumors on Slashdot that the pilot will involve time-travellers from a parallel dimension. God, I hope not; that's so convoluted.

Also, I hope we don't end up seeing someone being chewed up in one of those rickety old-timey hand-cranked transporters that they allegedly have, though you know they'll play that card eventually.

Also they'll have to make all their technology better than today's, but more primitive than it was in the first star track. And they can't discover anything that they only first discovered in ANY of the other series, or meet anyone they haven't first met. Oh, wait, they can, because people will watch anyway.

Just saw an ad for another Fox show called "Who Wants to Be a Princess?"

Like "Who Wants to Marry a Millionaire" except the millionaire is a European prince and I assume they'll pretend it's not fucking insane by not marrying them off immediately.
