(no subject)

Last night, I posted a journal entry saying I couldn't figure out for the life of me why I took my right sock off, but not my left one. It was accidentally marked as "Private". Apologies for those who were left in the dark.

In other news, I showed up at 5:00 this morning to work with no sleep. I'd look for a new job, but I suspect that I'd end up at a job where I was expected to leave at 5:00 Saturday morning.

Planning ahead, and behind.

My Sallie Mae Servicing student loan payment coupon book wishes me happy holidays in the December coupon. Also, my minimum payment is $40 less than it used to be. Yay!

It seems that paying my student loan off faster is probably the best long-term investment I can make; every dollar I pay in advance now is $1.76 I won't have to pay back in ten years. Unfortunately, since I'm not really depositing anything, I can't exactly withdraw the money back if I need it for emergencies or crack. What I'm paying for is the privelege of receiving a bachelor's degree at DeVry instead of getting work experience or going to a school where there were women whom I could have had sex with.

It's damn near midnight, time to play pretend-to-get-a-wink-of-sleep.... except that my laundry won't be ready for at least another half an hour. How's that for planning ahead?
