I noticed something really dumb today.
My fantasies seem to take a turn for the worse right in the middle, when I feel the irresistible urge to make them more realistic, and then end up playing out disaster scenarios.
Well DUH! The whole point of fantasies is that they're BETTER than reality. And yet my inner critic doesn't want them to be too happy-go-lucky, lest I forget that things could go wrong. Well, duh again; forgetting that things could go wrong is one of the perks of fantasizing in the first place!
Anyone else ever have this problem?
