You're over thinking this, man. Quantifying everyone's position and status like this is some kind of game too. You'll either go or won't, have a good time or won't. It's really that simple and all this thinking does nothing to change the situation but f#ck your brain to a little puddle of mush, which doesn't really let you appreciate anything.
