Ratings:

#1: 44% -- with double murder. Doesn't look like the kind of place, and one reviewer agreed it's a freak occurrence.

#2: 33% -- incompetent management. Something about them struck me as odd, even though "not speaking English" wasn't the problem I encountered.

Current: 30% -- but the most recent reviews are rillyrilly favorable.

But, perspective -- people don't generally go to apartment sties to post glowing reviews. I did talk to a handful of random residents at #2, and one resident at #1, and they were happy.

bah, I'm on vacation, this isn't what I should be doing. I should be posting about the shrimp pizza I just had.

#2, which seems the less flashy of the two despite the babbling creeks, was the one I spent the most time around. I talked to lots of people. Some had dogs...

If I'm five stories up, will that also insulate me from any boom cars that might be driving down Baseline?

I wonder why that wasn't a problem when I lived on Thomas Road. No colleges I suppose.
