Solution: Find people.
Problem: Where are there people?
Options:
- Go to downtown Tempe and meander in the coffee shops.
- Go to the grocery store and pretend to not know where things are.
- Call my brother.
- Call my friend. Note the singular form.
- Give up on the loneliness problem and try some boredom remedies.
You could be a few years older and live in Poughkeepsie.
FuckDance, or closing entirely like The Castle (which later reopened as a health club). Even The Chance shut down briefly before it was sold and remodeled. The only new people I meet anymore are people I sing with. Even there, there's still a huge age gap. In our 32-member chorus, about half are over fifty, I'm one of four just under forty, and after us there's one who just turned 30 and one high school student. In the light opera company, we have a couple more thirty-somethings, two new mid-twenties couples, and then all college and high school students.I think the only places people meet here anymore are daycare and health clubs.
