So, I saw a cab zoom by, make a U-turn and pull into the parking lot.

Then, another cab -- the cab the IHOP called -- showed up.

So an hour wait followed by two cabs showing up at once, means I go home feeling bad, even if I managed to meet some interesting people. I won't see them again, because I'm not going back. No matter how good the evening goes, transportation problems create a bad end, one way or another.

maybe I should have listened to darquis and taken the cab completely out of the equation and just biked the whole way home...
