Not necessarily.

Food poisoning can take a good 48 to 72 hours to run it's course. And that's if it does not take hold.

food poisoning can be as short as till you throw it up to several days. If your overly concerned about it, go see your doctor, and he will probably give you some antibiotics.

the problem is I didn't throw up at all. I probably should have, and tried some, but never quite got there.

sadly I still don't have a primary care doctor.

If all you were eating was prepared foods and slightly tepid milk, I tend to doubt it's food poisoning. Do you have sharp pain on the right side?

No, nothing sharp. Just abdominal cramps.

I need to rehydrate better but I don't have any of those nifty rehydrating drinks around. just soda.

Electrolytes are nice, but water will do the job pretty well.

It's probably just morning sickness from your alien finger baby.

Be on the look out for strange cravings. For example, if you find yourself chewing on hardware, this could be a sign you need more iron.
