Needless to say...

I didn't get the job.

I knew I should have lined up more interviews.

Though I can't say I was entirely professional at the interview, or that I gave off the impression of someone who they really wanted to hire.

Looks like it's death by skin cancer for me.

I have a new rule for swing dance partners: if I apologize for any mistake that did not injure them, they must step on my foot.

Dancing is supposed to be fun, and they don't need to be reminded that I goofed up. If I just try to cover up the mistake quietly, I'll probably succeed and yield a better chance of getting the woman's coveted "digits", which, as legend has it, will allow me to speak to her from my own home.
