Forgetting what food you like

Does anyone have a particular food item or concept that they order every six months, because you forget that you hate it?
Last night ad Denny's, an all-night special jumped out at me: "Sweet & Tangy BBQ Shrimp". It's been a while since I had shrimp, so why not? 12 pieces. MMmm.
Then when it arrived, and I started to eat it, I remembered that BBQ sauce is gross on anything but steak.
Shoulda had the breakfasty stuff.
And thanks to
cosmicjester for the ride to RHPS.

Date: 2007-09-23 08:19 pm (UTC)One of my favorite foods, Vietnamese spring rolls from Young's, always did a number on me. It was a love / hate thing. Then my wife suggested not putting the fish sauce on them. Problem solved, and now I can eat them whenever I want.
