I'm pissed off at banner ads now.

There was a banner that said "KITTIES!!!!!!!!!"  And it had a picture of the "It's Dangerous To Go Alone, Take This" cat.

I clicked it, and it was a Free Plasma TV offer.  Dammit.

I notice that when someone's giving away free kittens, they don't make you sign up to Netflix and apply for a home equity loan.

Um... DUH.

I have a hosts file which quietly redirects a fairly large number of ad sites to localhost.

As a result, I don't see ads a whole lot anymore.

My router's kind of old, and I'm stuck using WEP only because my TiVo can't do WPA. I wonder if I can do any of those hacks where uninvited wireless guests get every image they download turned into a cat, or upside down.
